
Pakistan News / Sikandar Sanam Death > Pakistani Stage and Television Actor Sikander Sanam passed away at a private hospital here on Monday.
Sanam had been battling liver cancer for the last three months and his funeral prayer will be held on Monday and he will be laid to rest at the Korangi graveyard.
Sanman was well known for his numerous stage and television plays and was appreciated for his comic brilliance.
Sanam also achieved a huge following for parodies he made of famous Bollywood movies.

“The Supreme Court is the court of ultimate jurisdiction in this country. As a guardian and protector of the Constitution of Pakistan, a heavy responsibility lies upon the judges of the Supreme Court to uphold the canons of constitutional predominance and its supremacy over all other institutions and authorities,” the CJP said while addressing officers of the 97th National Management Course at National Management College, Lahore.

Pakistan is being affected by external and inter dangers said the MQM Rabita Committee Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar, While MQM Calls for Referendum on 8th November, E Pakistan News reported.
Talking during the press conference in Karachi he told that MQM have called for a national referendum on November 8.
He stated that the people of Pakistan have to decide whether they want Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s Pakistan or the (Pakistani) Taliban’s.

Pakistan / Karachi News > Commuters in Pakistan’s economic hub are facing severe hardship as ninety percent of the total pumping stations of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) continue to remain closed across the Karachi
The CNG pumps from corner to corner the provincialcapital were imaginary to reopen at 9:00 AM today (Sunday) after observing a weekly shutting of 24 hours. However, ninety percent of the stations are still shut at 8:00 PM Sunday.
According to the dealers association, theassessment in connection with the reopening of the CNG stations will be made by their owners. The future course of action will be finalized by tomorrow (Monday), they added

The drive had set a target of administering vaccination to 3.4 million children across the country.
Vaccination could not be administered to 400,00 children in Punjab, 300,000 in Sindh, 212,000 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 30,000 in Balochistan and 33,000 in FATA.

Black flags have been hoisted on the bar buildings, while the lawyers wore black bands. The lawyers are observing partial strike in the subordinate courts. According to the KESC sources, the terminated employees included deputy general manager, manager, assistant manager, management support officer, meter inspection officer and junior officer.
The terminated employees told media that they were stopped by security guards when they were going on their duties at offices and given termination letters.

Reduction in Transport problems Notification Issues
Pakistan / Karachi News > Sindh Transport Department on Friday issued the notification under Provincial Motor Vehicle Ordinance 1965 announcing new reduced fares for public transport in Sindh.
According to notification, fares of intercity buses covering 5-kilometers distance run on diesel and CNG has been reduced from Rs 13 to Rs.10 while those covering 10-km or 15-km will charge the same fare of Rs 15 and Rs.16, respectively. Students will be charged 50% of the normal fare.
Petrol Pump Fire Killed 10 in Khuzdar
Pakistan / Khuzdar News > Unknown gunmen on Friday opened the fire at Petrol pump in Khuzdar that ignited the fuel station and a passenger van due to which 10 persons killed, EPakistan News reported.
Police told that efforts are underway to rescue the victims of the passenger van while the fire has been tamed.
On the contrary, when the DPO was contacted, he told that no one was injured in the incident. He also told that the fire has been brought under control. ‘At least four shops were burnt in the fire and we are evaluating the cause of the fire. We cannot confirm if there was firing at the petrol pump,’ said the DPO.

Target Killing Seven Killed at Karachi
Pakistan / Karachi News > In the different target killing incidents in Karachi on Thursday, Seven people lost the lives in different areas of Karachi, E Pakistan News reported.
A man was killed in the Sherpao Colony area of Lyari while another was shot dead in Saeed Manzil, after unidentified men opened fire.
In another incident of violence, a man lost his life when a heavy object was hit on his head. The tortured bodies of three men were found from Ghani Chowrangi, Ramswami and Radio Pakistan area.

Pakistan / Islamabad News > Code of conduct for the general elections in Pakistan has been approved by The Election Commission of Pakistan, E Pakistan News reported.
According to the main highlights of the ECP’s Code of Conduct, there will be a complete ban on exhibition of weapons throughout the polling day while the electoral candidates will be strictly bound not to issue any personal remarks.
Secretary Election Commission, Ishtiaq Ahmed said any candidate who violated the Code of Conductwould be disqualified.
