Pakistan / Islamabad News > Pakistani Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry declared that Supreme Court of Pakistan is the center of authority in the country, and judges are protector of the Constitution

“The Supreme Court is the court of ultimate jurisdiction in this country. As a guardian and protector of the Constitution of Pakistan, a heavy responsibility lies upon the judges of the Supreme Court to uphold the canons of constitutional predominance and its supremacy over all other institutions and authorities,” the CJP said while addressing officers of the 97th National Management Course at National Management College, Lahore.
