Speaking to media representatives here, Mr Malik said terrorists were also targeting women and children, however, authorities were acting against them in full force.

Responding to a question, Mr Malik said incidents of terrorism had gone down considerably in rural Balochistan.

He further said that several banned outfits, including Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LJ), were active in the southwestern province.
